The LWML is an official auxiliary of our church body, who for over 77 years has focused on affirming each woman's relationship with Christ. From that relationship, women are encouraged and equipped to support one another to live out their lives in Christ.
We are so blessed to have this amazing treasure for children of all ages as not only a part of our district, but it is just down the road from us! Camp Luther has been providing year-round quality Christian growth opportunities since 1946. From summer camps for children, cottage rentals for families, work retreats for service projects, and so much more, Camp Luther is well worth a visit.
Since 2018, Our Savior Lutheran Church has been taking part in the longest running Servant Event in the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. For 10 days in July, our youth have an opportunity to serve families in need in the mountains of western North Carolina. Projects have included digging and installing septic systems, running water from mountain springs into homes, home repair, wheelchair ramps, private bridge repair, and much more. But the greatest impact that can take place is in the lives of the youth who attend.
